AGL Awards held under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed

Held under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Honourary President of the UAE FA, the Arabian Gulf League Awards 2013-2014 and Arabian Gulf League Season Draw 2014-2015 will take place at 4:15pm on Saturday 17th May 2014 at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi Corniche.
 
The event will begin at 4:15pm with the Draw Ceremony for the 2014-2015 editions of the Arabian Gulf League and Arabian Gulf Cup, where the draw mechanism will be fully explained and the draw process conducted to determine the Arabian Gulf League fixtures and the Arabian Gulf Cup groups for next season.
 
At 5:30pm the Arabian Gulf League Awards 2013-2014 will take place, celebrating the stars of the season in a total of 10 different award categories; five of which have been voted upon by the Technical Committee, industry experts, Head Coaches, Club Captains and media representatives. After calculating all submitted votes, the Top 3 nominees in each category have been shortlisted as follows:

EMIRATI PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The winners will be announced on the night at the Arabian Gulf League Awards 2013-2014 ceremony, along with the winners of five further categories: Top Scorer of the Year, Professional Club of the Year, The Best XI, Fantasy Football Manager of the Year, and Fans’ Player of the Year. Voting for the Fans’ Player of the Year category is still open and has seen intense competition from fans, who are voting for their best player of the year via SMS (texts sent to 3661, charged at the standard network rate), Facebook (www.facebook.com/AGLeague), Twitter @AGLeague and Instagram @AGLeague.
