Al Jazira Finishes the Preparations for Al Sharjah Match

Abu Dhabi: 1 January 2014
The first football team finished their daily training sessions as they are preparing for the next match against Al Sharjah, which will be in Al Sharjah Stadium at Thursday the 2nd of January 2014, as part of the 13th week of the Arabian Gulf League.
The preparations for this match started after the one day rest the players had after the last match against Al Ain; it started at Sunday with evening training, and in Monday and Tuesday also, then in Wednesday with light session led by the head coach Walter Zenga and his assistants.
On Wednesday evening the players prepared for the session with the fitness coach and the team physician in the gymnasium; they headed with their coach to the training field and had a volley match by feet, then a short inner match lasted for 20 minutes saw a continuous directing from Walter Zenga and great spirit from all the players.
Al Jazira Absentees:
Missing Al Sharjah match from Al Jazira is the long-term injured duo Salim Masoud and Yaqub Al Hosani, and Humaid Al Mas who went under surgery operation on his knee cartilage. The defensive midfielder Khamis Ismail will miss the match for suspension, as he get his third yellow card during the last league match against Al Ain.
The team will also miss each of halfan Mubarak, Salim Ali, Salim Rahid, Ahmed Al Hashimi, Saif Khalfan and Ahmed Rabee Salim, who joined the UAE National Olympic Team in Muscat for the U22 Asian Cup Finals, which will start at 11th and end at the 26th of January 2014.
