Al Jazira is Fully Prepared to Face Emirates

On Friday the 13th of December, Al Jazira ran their last and main training session for their next league match against Emirates, which will be kicked off at Saturday 14 December in Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the tenth round of the Arabian Gulf League.
The team return from Al Ain directly after the end of the match they lost to Al Wahda in the UAE President Cup, and started preparing in the following day for Emirates match, with a training session held on Wednesday night, and another one at Thursday morning, then with the last on the evening of Friday.
The Italian coach and his assistants worked with full squad on Wednesday training session, only the injured players were missing. The training started from the gymnasium, then the players headed to the training field, where they had been divided into two groups, the first group consisted of the players who participated since the start against Al Wahda, and they trained with the fitness coach to get rid off the fatigue they suffered after that match. 
The second group consisted of the reserves and the absentees of the derby, and they worked with the head coach on different attacking buildup moves and defensive discipline tactics. Meanwhile, Thursday training was only in and around the swimming pool, as the coaching staff tried to keep the players fresh and in best possible shape for Saturday match.
At the first part of Friday session, the fitness coach worked intensively with the players to increase their endurance and fitness level, then they had been divided into two groups, they worked with the coach and his assistants’ different buildup tactics and attacking methods; and also on defensive, marking and covering tactics; while the goalkeepers worked separately with their coach.
In the last part of the session the players had an internal match that saw high competitive spirit from all the players, as they attempting to convince their manager to put them in his startup squad for Tuesday game.
Emirates will be welcomed in MBZ stadium as the 12th team in the league table, with 7 points in their credit, from 2 victories, 1 draw and 6 defeats. Al Jazira in the other hand is in the 7th place in the table, with 13 points from 3 victories, 4 draws and 2 defeats.
