Al Jazira resumes their trainings in Abu Dhabi

Al Jazira football team resumed their preparations for next season after they came from their European camp on Switzerland and Germany. The team had a training session at Thursday 29/8, which was held on the first sub-pitch, leaded by Luis Milla and his staff and with a full squad.
The coach gave the players two days off to rest after they arrived to Abu Dhabi at Tuesday morning, the trainings resumed at Thursday night in the first sub-pitch due to the preoccupation of Mohamed bin Zayed stadium by hosting Arabian Gulf Supercup match between Al Ahli and Al Ain at Friday 30/8.



 
Mundo Deportivo: Barcelona set their sights on Valdez
 
According to report published on the website of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo on 28th of August, the Argentinian coach of Barcelona Gerardo Martino is setting his sights on the Paraguayan striker of Al Jazira Nelson Valdez, and other players, to strengthen the frontline of the la liga title holders during the current summer transfers window.
Valdez name was in a list presented, according the newspaper, by Martino to the Catalan club officers to investigate any possibility of signing one of them during the last a few days of the transfer window. The list included next to Valdez each of the Spanish Fernando Llorente, the Paraguayan duo Lucas Barrios and Oscar Carduzo, the Brazilian Lisandro Lopez and the Spanish Adrian Lopez.
From his side, Valdez confirmed that neither he or his agent has received any kind of offers from any club, he stressed that he is only putting his total concentration on doing his best in the training session and help the team prepare in the best possible way for the next season and convincing his coach that he deserve a place in his startup line, and that he is happy with Al Jazira and his family started to settle down in Abu Dhabi.
