Al Jazira Wins their Friendly against FC Ingolstadt 04

With two goals scored by Oliveira and Barrada, and under the sight of UAE first national team coach Mahdi Ali, Al Jazira has managed to get a win from their second friendly match in the European training camp, this time it was against the German second division team FC Ingolstadt 04, in the match that has been played at Audi Sportpark Stadium in Ingolstadt City.
The startup 11 at the first half were Ali Khesaif, Jumaa Abdallah, Musalam Fayez, Khalid Butti, Abdallah Musa, Khamees Ismail, Yaqub Al Hosani, Abdelaziz Barrada, Nelson Valdez, Ali Mabkhout and Ricardo Oliveira; and missed the match Sultan Al Suaidi who underwent a surgery on his stomach muscles today, and Hamid Al Mas who suffered from a fever.
Al Jazira didn’t take too much time to reach his opponent goal, as Ricardo Oliveira scored the opener after and strong shot at the 8th minutes of the match, and although the match was friendly, Al Jazira showed a great competitiveness and strong winning mentality, helped by the worked that has been done during the camp in Switzerland.
Ingolstadt reacted aggressively to equalize the score before end of the first half, and they get what they want when they scored the equalizer at mintute 38 with a free kick shot successfully at the right bottom angle of Ali Khesaif, and things became more complicated for Al Jazira when the referee showed a red card for Ali Mabkhout for his continuous objection, but Ingolstadt failed to dominated the match as Al Jazira players showed a real discipline and fighting spirit and the first half ended 1/1.
At the start of the second half, Luis Milla made several substitutions, Subait Khater, Yasir Matar and Salim Masoud went on instead of Khalid Butti, Yaqub Al Hosani and Khamees Ismail, and then Nelson Valdez has been substituted with Sultan Barghash.
The substations were very effective and positive and the fresh blood helped Al Jazira to overcome their numerical shortage and they take back the initiative and scored the winner by Abdelaziz Barrada who faced the German goalkeeper and put the ball on his net to end the match and guarantee the second win on the European camp after they beat FC Lausanne in the first one.
