Al Jazira without Valdez for Two Weeks

The team Paraguayan striker Nelson Valdez will be out for two weeks, after the medical tests results confirmed that he is suffering from a first degree torn in his back thigh muscles, according to the first football team physician Dr. Mohammed Al Tarshan.
Valdez injured his thigh during the last league match against Dubai, which was on Wednesday 30 October, he left the pitch on min. 40 on pain and his coach replaced him immediately with Ali Mabkhout.
The initial clinical tests indicated that the player had first degree torn in his back thigh muscles, and this indication has been confirmed with the x-rays results tests later.
According to Dr. Al Tarshan, this kind of injuries does not require any surgical intervention, and the player will go after some days rest under a rehabilitation program during the next two weeks before he gets ready and fit to join his teammates in the group training sessions.
Valdez will not be available for the next two cup matches against Al Ain and Bani Yas at the 7th and 14th of this month, but he will be able to join his teammates for the team preparation for the next league match against Al Wahda, if his recovery program went as it is planned.
