Al Jazira youth team converted their defeat to a win over their guests Al Sharjah with 3 goals to two, in the match that has been played in the first sub-pitch in the club, as part of the third week matches of the first round of the Youth League (19 years).

Scored for Al Jazira each of Ahmed Al Hashimi “13” and Sultan Al Shamsi “70, 86” and the startup squad of the team consisted of Sultan Al Munziri, Salim Rashid, Sultan Abdulwahab, Salim Haider, Abdulrahman Al Hosani, Mohammed Butti, Sultan Al Shamsi, Khalid Gamal, Ahmed Al Hashimi, Zayed Mohammed and Nahyan.

Al Jazira started the match with attacking impulsive rush; Salim Haider missed the first opportunity to score the opener at the 7th minute, and after 3 minutes Ahmed Al Hashimi faced the goalkeeper but he shot at his body.

But against the match direction, Al Sharjah Marwan  Suror used a counter attack and score the first goal for his team in the 11th minute, but Ahmed Al Hashii equalized the score when he used a penalty kick and put the ball against the direction of the keeper to get his team back in the match.

Al Jazira imposed an absolute superiority in the match, and the quick runs of Salim Haider and Ahmed Al Hashimi caused great confusion for Al Sharjah defenders, but the goalkeeper denied the attackers to score the leader for Al Jazira until the first half ended.

In the second half the superiority converted to Al Sharjah side, and they used it to score their second goal when Nasser Khamis used a misplaced clearance from Sultan Abdulwahab and faced the goalkeeper and put the ball behind him in the 65th minute.

The goal didn’t frustrate Al Jazira player as they organized their attacking moves directly to look for another equalizer, and they get what they looked for after Ahmed Al Hashimi ended an organized attack by putting the goal behind the keeper in the 70th minute in spite of the defender harassment.

Finally, Al Jazira put their noses in front when Al Hashimi received a smart pass behind the defender and ended his quick run by scoring his second and Al Jazira third in the 86th minute.

Al Sharjah put an attacking pressure on the defensive lines of Al Jazira, but the solidarity and the concentration of Sultan Abdulwahab and his teammates kept Al jazira in front until the referee blew his last whistle.

With this win, Al Jazira put their first 3 points in their youth league credit; they lost their first match against Al Wasl with 1 goal to 3, and their second against Al Wahda with 4 goals to 2. The next match will be against Al Ahli in Dubai at the evening of Tuesday the 19th of November.
