Ayed Mabkhout: Kalba Game is Part of Our League Preparation

The director of Al Jazira first team Mr. Ayed Mabkhout assured that the team will play against Ittihad Kalba tomorrow with winning intentions, even though the match will be just a part of Al Jazira preparations for the second half of the league competition.
The rare chances of reaching the cup semifinal has vanished after Al Jazira lost their latest matches to Al Wasl 2:1, and the team will host Ittihad Kalba tomorrow in their last match in the Arabian Gulf Cup this season, the competition which has been declared as secondary by the coach Eric Gerets since the first round.
Speaking to about tomorrow game Ayed Mabkhout said “This match is part of our preparations for the second half of the league, but we will approach it very seriously and we will play to win even if we don’t have a chance to reach the cup semifinal”.
Al Jazira is missing 11 players for different reasons, including national duties and injuries, but the team manager insisted that any player can contribute hugely to the team if the coach relied on him, he said “the substitutes and youngster did very well in the last match against Al Wasl in created a lot of scoring chances to win but they lacked the experience and luck to get advantage of it; Al Jazira enjoys a talented and strong squad and the coach can rely on any player knowing for sure he can contribute significantly to the team”.
Mabkhout finished his short interview by saying “The result of this match has no effects on us for the cup, but we are approaching it seriously and we will play it only to win and grab the 3 points, because these are out hobbits in Al Jazira”.
