Dibba 4:2 Al Jazira. The Match Summary

Dibba twice came back from a goal down to record a memorable 4-2 home victory over Abu Dhabi giants Al Jazira for their first win in the Arabian Gulf League. Goals from Boris Kabi, Saeed Mohamed, Tareq Ahmed and Bakary Kone earned an impressive 3 points for Theo Bücker’s new boys in Round 4, giving them a total of 4 points whilst Al Jazira remain on 6.
The visitors made the breakthrough at the Fujairah Stadium after 34 minutes; summer signing Jefferson Farfan finding the target with a right-footed volley into the roof of the net to put Al Jazira 1-0 up. But in the 42nd minute it was the experienced striker Boris Kabi who opened his account for Dibba in spectacular style; thrashing a right-footed rocket past his marker Fares Juma and goalkeeper Ali Khaseif to level the scores at 1-1 moments before the interval.
Al Jazira restored their lead in the 53rd minute through the unlikely scorer of Fares Juma. The defender struck a speculative effort from distance with his right foot, which bobbled up off the turf before nestling in the bottom corner of Humaid Abdulla’s net to make it 2-1 early into the second half. Dibba were not to be downed, though, and in the 73rd minute they found another equaliser as Saeed Mohamed toe-poked a strike beyond Ali Khaseif from Nasir Abdelhadi’s inswinging free kick to make it 2-2. A quite extraordinary turnaround followed as Dibba netted twice in the space of 2 minutes; Tareq Ahmed’s fine chip making it 3-2 in the 85th minute before Bakary Kone put the newly-promoted side 4-2 up in the 87th minute, stroking a cross-goal finish past the UAE’s number one goalkeeper to secure their first three points of the campaign.
