Keizer and Khalifa are expecting a tough match against Bani Yas

Abu Dhabi: Feb. 16, 2021
Marcel Keizer expect a tough match against Bani Yas next Thursday, and confirmed his team is fit and ready to take on this strong opponent only 4 days after the away game against Kalba.
Bani Yas is visiting the Mohamed bin Zayed stadium with 32 points in their league credit, only 4 points away from Al Jazira and Sharjah who are sitting first with 36 points, and Keizer insisted that reaching this position in the league standing is a strong statement about the quality of their team.
“Bani Yas are playing well, they have good team and they play good football because of their strong midfield and fast wingers,” said the Dutch coach at the pre-game press conference.
“We only look at ourselves, and we are aiming to achieve more good results, like the one we achieved last week. Luckily for us we have almost a full squad, because we didn’t pick any injuries or suspensions last week, so everyone is fit and ready now, and looking forward for another challenging match only four days after the last one”.
“I don’t know if Bani Yas are putting the league title as one of their goals for this season or no, and they can answer this question, not me. Nothing will make their game against us more difficult than it is already, and I will only think of my team and nothing else,” the manager concluded.
Khalifa Al Hammadi agreed with his manager on describing the challenge against Bani Yas as difficult. “They are doing very well in the league, and they have a smart coach and a very good group of player”, said the young center back in the second part of the conference.
“Joao Pedro is very good striker, but Bani Yas team is not only about him and of course we will not give him any special treatment on Thursday. We will do our best to be ready, mentally and physically for this game, and our target will always be to play as good as we can, and to fight until the end for the three points”.
