Keizer: Playing against Ajman is always Difficult

Abu Dhabi: Jan. 22, 2020
The boss offers an update on the players who returned from the Olympic National Team camp ahead of Thursday’s match against Ajman in the league. He also confirmed the absence of Amer Abdulrahman, who joined the military to fulfill his national duty to the country.
“Preparing for Ajman game was difficult because we missed the five players who played for the UAE in Thailand to qualify to the Olympics”, the coach said in the pre-match press conference. He added “They returned now to the training field but I gave them rest because they are very exhausted, and very disappointed because they didn’t take their country to Tokyo 2020. I will talk to them again tomorrow and to the team doctors before taking any decisions about putting them in the lineup against Ajman”.
The manager discussed his options for Thursday’s game considering that he will some players due to different reasons, and explained “The Olympic Team players are exhausting, so I don’t know if I will put them in the field tomorrow or no. Faisal Al Matrooshi and Badr Al Shabibi will complete this season with Khorfakkan and Bani Yas, and Amer Abdulrahman will join the army. We will miss them of course, but we have big squad, and I trust everyone in my team, and I will not face any issues in selecting the best eleven players to get the job done on Thursday night”.
Speaking about Ajman the coach said “It is always difficult to face Ajman because they are very organized and disciplined, and because they are physically strong. They caused serious troubles to Sharjah and got away with one important point from that game, so we know very well that our mission will not be busy at all, but we also know that the we have what it takes to succeed at it”.
