“I am sure the two teams will attack and aim for the three points”. Those are the words Marcel Keizer used when he anticipated how the match against Ittihad Kalba will go when Al Jazira visits them tomorrow in Ajman in the last match of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

Al Jazira, who are third in Group A with seven points, qualified officially to the quarterfinal thanks to the results of the matchweek 6, while Kalba on the other side, lost all chances to reach the same round after they collected only 2 points from their previous six games.

Speaking to the press ahead of Saturday game, the manager said “We are preparing for this game without our national players, and also without Sultan Al Ghafri who is suffering from a twisted ankle. Mourad Batna and Milos Kosanovic are recovering from some minor injuries, and Omer Abdulrahman is still under medical evaluation before taking any decisions regarding his participation in Saturday match. The preparations are going very well and we will be completely ready for Kalba when the times comes”.

“Al Jazira is always aiming for the three points and think only about winning”, Keizer added, “Our intentions will be the same and we will not be less motivated against Kalba because we qualified officially. Winning on Saturday will make us third by the end of this round, and we want to end our journey in the groups’ stage as high as possible. I believe Kalba will do whatever it takes to win also because they are playing at their home, and winning against Al Jazira will give them a moral boost to prepare better for their upcoming challenges, and for all these reasons I am sure the match will be entertaining for the viewers”.

The central defender Musallem Fayez insisted that the players are ready and motivated to give their best against Kalba, and added “We are preparing with the same focus and commitment for this game as we always do for any other match. We are respect all the opponents and we think only about winning, and Saturday game will not be any different for us. We are missing some important players due to national duties and injuries, but whoever enter the pitch on that day will do his best to help the team perform better and get the three points”.
