The coach of the first team, Marcel Keizer, expected the winning chances of tomorrow game against Al Ain to be fair between the two sides, and insisted that his youngsters will always be ready to step in to replace any injured or suspended player from the starting eleven.

Speaking to the media ahead of Thursday game, Marcel said “It will be a tough game for both sides, and the winning chances will be equal to Al Jazira and Al Ain. They didn’t get the results they want recently, but they are still a big team, they have physically strong players and they will make it a physical game, but we will stick to our style of play. We respect Al Ain, but we are going there with both eyes on the prize, which is the three points”.

“Our performance against Ajman last week was good, and I was happy with how we controlled the game and how we stayed focused and patient until the end. Now we need to build on that performance, and do our best to produce a better performance at the Hazza bin Zayed stadium against Al Ain,” Keizer continued.

The coach placed his confidence on his young talents to fill the gaps in the starting lineup, he said “Mhammed Rabii fulfilled his suspension and he is ready for Al Ain game, but we are missing the injured triple Amoory, Attas, Ezekiel, and Kosanovic for suspension. I have full confidence on my young players and I know for sure they can step in and help the team whenever we miss a starting player for injury or suspension, and I believe everyone saw how Abdulla Idris helped us last week against Ajman when he started that game to cover for Rabii absence”.
