Marcel Keizer’s Team News for Ittihad Kalba League Tie

Abu Dhabi: Feb. 12, 2021
Marcel Keizer has given an update on one defender who look set to be available for Sunday’s league game against Ittihad Kalba at Kalba Club stadium.
Al Jazira boss was speaking to the media on Friday evening and said he expects Mohamed Al Attas to be fully fit when the team visits Ittihad Kalba in matchweek 16 of the Arabian Gulf League, along with Brandley Kuwas.
“Al Attas is getting more fit. He did well during the 60 minutes he played against Al Dhafra and he is training well now, and I expect him to be ready for Ittihad Kalba. We will keep an eye on him today and tomorrow and take the final decision about him on Sunday”.
“Everyone else is available for the game and the training sessions are going very well and the team is in a good mood thanks to the good performance and results we achieved against Al Nasr and Al Dhafra”.
“We know its going to be tough against Kalba, they are defensively disciplined and have strong players upfront, but we will go there with belief in ourselves and in our chances to return with the three points, and of course we will show them the respect they deserve”.
“Al Jazira will not commit the mistake of thinking about the league table or the nominations around the title. We only think about next game, and the next game now is against Ittihad Kalba”.
Brandley Kuwas insisted he is only focusing on Al Jazira and he is not bothering himself with critics or whatever was written about him in social media.
“I don’t bother myself with what people said or wrote about me in the past. I only think about Al Jazira and focusing only on doing my best for Al Jazira. The competition for the starting eleven is intense because of the high quality of Al Jazira players, and I need to do my best in every training session to earn the trust of the coach and play and help the team”.
