Zenga: All The Matches Are Important and Crucial

Abu Dhabi: 17 January 2014
The team coach Mr. Walter Zenga insisted that all the matches for Al Jazira in the next term of the season will be highly important and very crucial, this during the press conference he held on Thursday to speak about the next away game against Al Wasl.
Zenga started the conference by reckoning that Al Wasl has improved a lot during the last a few matches, especially after the changes on the administrative level and on the team sheet level. He also reckoned that this team has return from Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium with the 3 points in the last match, won over Al Ahli the league leader, and was so close from eliminating Al Ain from the president cup.
The coach added that Al Wasl players has consumed all the ideas and philosophy of their coach and gained tactical flexibility that is helping them adjust with any opponent, and for all these reasons, Al Jazira should show them respect and play against them with full concentration and aggressiveness.
The coach explained that his team preparations for this match went the same as for the other matches, because Al Jazira is always showing the same respect for all his opponents and approaches their matches with the same attitude and motivation. He also refused to consider the long and hard match that Al Wasl played in the middle of the last week against Al Ain, and stressed that he only think about the physical conditions of his players, not the opponents.
The Italian insisted that getting close to the leader teams in the table will not put any extra pressure on Al Jazira players, because Al Jazira belongs to the top place and their natural place is there.
Zenga went back the insist he is not worried about the long list of the absentees from the team sheet, because he have great squad and strong and talented players that can handle any situation, and also because his job is to find solutions for this kind of situation, and this is what he will do against Al Wasl.
The coach finished his part by revealing that he asks his players to play for the shirt and fight for the points, and enjoying what they are do inside the pitch.
Mabkhout: We Will Fight Al Wasl in Their Ground
In the second part of the conference, Ali Mabkhout expressed his gratitude for his former teammate Ricardo Oliveira, for what he offered for Al Jazira during the years he spent inside the walls of Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
The national attacker insisted that Al Jazira will keep fighting for titles and championships no matter who left the team and who joined, and stressed that him and his teammates will keep defending this shirt until the next generations and newcomers take the flag from them.
Speaking about the next match, Mabkhout explained that Al Jazira will show the necessary respect for Al Wasl, their host in Saturday night match, but they need the three points to keep climbing the league table, and will fight Al Wasl in their ground to return to Abu Dhabi victorious.
