Zenga Prepares his squad for his First Mission with Al Jazira

Abu Dhabi: 29 October 2013
As he is getting ready for his first match as a coach of Al Jazira, the Italian coach Walter Zenga ran the main training session at Monday October 28th in Al Jazira academy grounds for the team next match, which will be against Dubai at Wednesday October 30th in Al Nahyan Stadium, as part of the sixth round of the Arabian Gulf League.
Ali Mabkhout trained with his teammates as he completed his suspension sentence for the direct red card he received in the third league match against Al Shabab, which forced him to miss the last two league matches against Ajman and Al Dhafra, but now he is fit and will be amongst his coach choices for Dubai match. And back to be in the coach choices also the defensive midfielder Hyung Min Chin, who came back from his country after he completed a governmental paperwork that prevented him from playing the last match against Al Dhafra.
But this will not be the case for his teammate Khamis Ismail, who will not play against Dubai as he will serve a one match suspension for receiving 3 yellow cards in the league, but he also trained with the team on Monday.
The team will continue to miss Salim Masoud who’s preparing for a surgical procedure in his knee in Germany at Tuesday 28 October; and Yaqub Al Hosani who will follow Masoud to Germany to go under a surgery for his right ankle ligaments in the next week.
The players worked on different offensive building and defensive organizing, and they had a mini match before stretching their muscles and listening to short lecture from their coach and leaving the pitch.
Al Jazira is currently the 7th in the league table with 8 points from 5 matches; meanwhile Dubai is the 13th with only 3 points from one win and 4 defeats. The last match between the two teams saw Al Jazira winning it by 3 goals to 2 in Dubai Stadium and it was part of the 4th round of the Cup and played at the ninth of this month.
