The coach added, our chances are in our hands now and we don’t need to pay any attention to the other teams’ results. In the next a few days our schedule will be very busy, unlike the other teams that are competing us for the third place like Sharjah and Wahda; we have all the confidence we need to fight and win and get the results we wants”.
Speaking about their next opponent Zenga said “Emirates is good team and now they are fighting to avoid relegation and they will try to use their ground and fans to pressurize us. We on the other hand have our own motivations and our reasons to fight them in their home and take the three points from there”.
He added “I don’t think this match will affect our preparations for the next Asian match against negatively, there is enough time between the two matches and the journey to and from Doha is not that long”.
The Italian also discussed the team preparations for the match, he said “we have only two days to get ready for this match and we will do our best; I will miss the suspended Abdullah Qasem, Felipe Caicedo and Musallem Fayez and the injured Abdullah Musa, but I will do my best to find solutions for this situation”.
Qasem: Winning Next Matches is Our Only Chance
In the second part of the conference, the attacker Abdullah Qasem stressed that winning the next match is now the only choice of Al Jazira in their next matches.
He said “Emirates match is very important and crucial, like all the matches for Al Jazira in the remaining weeks of this season; we will fight and look for only victories and we will do our best to reach the second place in the league, or at least maintain our their position until the end of the season”.
“Emirates is good team and they improved significantly in the last a few weeks, we will respect them of course but we will do whatever it takes to comeback with the 3 points from their stadium” Qasem added.
Abdullah finished the conference by saying “Al Jazira squad has great and strong players who can compensate any missing elements, and that’s why I don’t think that the coach will face some problems to decide who will play instead of me and Musa and Musallem and Caicedo”.
