Zenga: We Gifted the Points to Bani Yas

The team coach Walter Zenga admitted that they gifted the 3 points of their match against Bani Yas to their hosts, with their lack of concentration and bad positioning in the first half of that match that has been played in Al Shamkha Stadium as part of the 5th round of the UAE Cup League.
 
The coach started the conference by saying that his players commit many mistakes in the first half with regard with their positioning inside the penalty area, and their bad-marking in the last third. He explained that his team possessed the ball for the majority of that half and denied Bani Yas from creating any clear scoring chances, except of the two goals chances; but Al Jazira week defending and Bani Yas strong one decided the first half.
 
On the other hand, the coach expressed his satisfaction about his team performance in the second half, he explained that they discussed their mistakes during the break and corrected it, and that reflected on their play style in the second half, which was more better and organized; but the two accidents of Oliveira send off and Barghash wasted penalty decided that half and the whole match.
 
The Italian refused to criticized the match referee decisions; he revealed that he kept speaking with the 4th referee about Bani Yas behavior in wasting the time by falling down continuously and consuming too much time to received the medical treatment inside the field, which broke down Al Jazira rhythm and ruined their attacking rush.
 
The coach insisted that his job in Al Jazira is not getting as harder by time as it may look; he explained that he knows Al Jazira is a leading team and aims only for titles and victories, but he stressed that the coach job is difficult everywhere, and he has to accept the defeats with all its criticism, as he accept the victories with all its admiration and celebrations.
 
Zenga ended the conference by expressing his relief for getting 10 days to prepare his team for the next match, which will be against Al Wahda in the 7th round of the Arabian Gulf League in the 23rd of this month; he assured that he and his staff will work hard with the players to improve every aspect in their play style to get better results and win more complete points in the next matches.
