Saudi Al Ahli Crowned Champions of Al Jazira (IPIC) Cup

 Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Al Jazira Sports and Cultural Club President, and with the presence of Sheik Mohamed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Al Jazira Football Company Chairman, An His Excellency Khadim Al Qubaisi, representator of International Petroleum Investments Company (IPIC), Al Jazira (IPIC) Cup ended its matches in Monday 5th of August at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium by crowning Saudi Al Ahli as Champions after they beat Al Jazira in the final by a goal scored by Suk Hyun at 11th minute of first half.
Al Jazira started the match by a squad composed of Ali Khesaif, Musalam Fayez, Yasir Matar, Abdallah Gasim, Yaqoub Yousif, Saif Khalfan, Ricardo Oliveira, Nelson Valdez, Abdelaziz Barrada, Abdallah Musa and Chin Hyung Min. While Al Ahli started with Abdallah Al Mayouf, Osama Hosawy, Kamil Al Musa, Mansour Al Harbi, Tayseer Al Jasim, Bruno Cesar, Mostafa Al Bassas, Waleed Bakhshwin, Mosoro Costa, Ali Faraj and Suk Huyn. And during the two halves the two coaches made a lot of changes to test all their players.
After the match, His Excellency Khadim Al Qubaisi, representator of International Petroleum Investments Company (IPIC), and Mr. Ammar Al Bashir, Al Jazira CEO, has crowned the winners, Ali Khesaif from Al Jazira won the tournament best goalkeeper prize, and the best player was Osama Hosawy from Al Ahli. Al Jazira team won the runner up trophy and 100.000Dhs cash prize, while Al Ahli won the cup and 200.000Dhs cash prize.
Vitor Pereira: Al Jazira Cup Prepared us for the Asians
Speaking to Al Jazira Media Center, Vitor Pereira, coach of Saudi Al Ahli expressed his satisfaction about their participation in Al Jazira Cup; he said the tournament was very useful to him because it gave him a great chance to test his players in competitive environment, and it played a big role in their preparations for the Asian Championship and specifically for the match against the South Korean team.
Al Kuwait beats Al Nahdha for the 3rd place 
Al Kuwait team won the 3rd place of Al Jazira (IPIC) Cup after they beat Al Nahdha by 7 goals to 1. Scored for Al Kuwait Shadi Al Hammami (2), Ahmed Al Sagr (2), Waleed Ali, Fahd Al Enizi and Regeryo.
