The first team has been eliminated from the UAE President Cup after they surrendered their one-goal lead and lost to Al Wahda 1:2 in the quarterfinals game yesterday at the Zayed Sports City. Victor Sa scored the only goal for Al Jazira in the 32nd minute of the game.

Milos Kosanovic and Omer Traore appeared yesterday after they missed the Super Cup tie against Shabab Al Ahli and the league fixture against Al Wasl. Meanwhile, Khalfan Mubarak, Salim Rashid, and Hazza Subait weren’t available yesterday due to different fitness issues. Ahmed Al Attas led the front line for the second consecutive match since he joined Al Jazira from Sharjah, and Mohamed Jamal played his 3rd game since he returned to the club on a loan deal from Al Ain.
