In a high-octane clash at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium, Khorfakkan secured a commanding 4-2 win against Al Jazira during matchweek six of the ADNOC Pro League.

This performance marked Khorfakkan's maiden four-goal feat in the ADNOC Pro League, propelling them to 7 points. On the flip side, Al Jazira, experiencing their first four-goal concession this season, holds steady with 10 points.

Khorfakkan's Brazilian sensation, Tiago De Leonco, ignited the scoreboard in the 16th minute, exploiting a defensive lapse from a free-kick within the penalty area.

The momentum continued as Lourency Do confidently netted a penalty in the 43rd minute, marking his 16th ADNOC Pro League goal, half of which was celebrated on home turf.

Shaheen Surour Aldarmaki amplified Khorfakkan's lead with a thunderous long-range effort in the 46th minute, a historic triple against Al Jazira in the first half.

Interestingly, this is the first instance since their November 2021 game against Al Ain where Al Jazira found themselves three goals down by halftime.

As the second half unfolded, Al Jazira showed glimpses of a comeback. Super-sub Ahmed Mohamed made his presence felt with a goal in the 66th minute.

But Khorfakkan's resilience shone through Antonio Junior crafted a brilliant counter, slotting home the team's fourth in the 84th minute. Despite a late penalty conversion by Al Jazira's Ali Mabkhout in the 93rd minute, Khorfakkan emerged victorious with a decisive 4-2 scoreline.
