Al Jazira and Sharjah shared the spoils after playing out a 1-1 draw at Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium on Sunday in a match that had been postponed from match week 16.

Neeskens Kebano had put Al Jazira in front after ten minutes from a penalty spot as he stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Firas Ben Al Arabi hit the equaliser for Sharjah from another penalty kick as he stroked the ball into the bottom corner in the stoppage time of the first half.

The result means that Sharjah is second with 45 points, while Al Jazira is seventh with 32 points.
