Frank De Boer, the coach of the first team, answered questions from the media about his team's preparations for the derby match against Al Wahda on Friday night and praised the fans for their support against Al Nasr in Dubai last season. Winning the Opening Match of the League

“I am very pleased with the praise the team received for their performance against Al Nasr and the victory they achieved from that match. It means we did a good job on that specific match, but it doesn’t mean we performed at our top because the margin of improvement is very big for us, and we demand more from ourselves and we know we can do better and achieve more”.

Eye on the Opponent

“Al Wahda is a very good team, and I believe they lost their match against Al Bataeh because of the bad luck they faced in front of the goal. We watched some games and analyzed their performance and now we know what to expect from them in the derby. We didn’t beat them in the last season and we do whatever we can to change this and win the match on Friday”.

“Our fans were amazing in Dubai against Al Nasr, and I was glad we won that game and celebrated with them at Al Maktoum stadium.
