Every word from Marcel’s Press Conference Ahead of Mumbai City Match

Al Jazira coach Marcel Keizer fielded questions from journalists and TV ahead of the team Monday night game against Indian team FC Mumbai City in the AFC Champions League. Here is every word from the conference he attended today with our young midfielder Yousef Ayman.
“We had an extra day to rest and it was very positive for us because the players needed it very much after playing 3 matches in 10 days. Preparations are going good for Monday game and we are working intensively on improving our game and finalizing the plan we will use against the Indian team tomorrow. They showed good organization in defense and they always tried to keep the ball and create chances in front of our goal, but we also do the same, and that’s why I believe the match will be exciting for the fans and spectators. Playing against them three days ago gave us a very good idea about them, and they know us well now thanks to that match, so we know we will have to improve and play even better to beat them again”.
“We will miss some players due to complicated injuries, and we might use some young and inexperienced players tomorrow against Mumbai City, but am not worried at all because these players gives us more energy in the training field and also during the matches, and they will have all the support and help they need from the older and experienced players in the squad”.
“Our chances in reaching the round of 16 looks complicated at this stage of the tournament, but we don’t want to think too much about it right now and we will take it step by step. We had to push ourselves physically against Mumbai in the last match and I know we will have to do the same tomorrow, so we will not waste our energy thinking about the future and what will happen after 10 days, and we will focus completely and only on the mission in hand”.
“Atmosphere in the dressing room is very positive and everyone feels confident about what we are doing in the training field,” said the young midfielder Yousef Ayman in the second part of the press conference. “Winning against Mumbai gave us an extra boost to our confidence, but it was a very hard victory, and we know very well that we will have to do better and fight harder when we face them again tomorrow, and we will definitely do that,” he added.
