Hendriksen: We Respect Shabab Al Ahli and we Aim for Victory
Abu Dhabi: Oct. 21, 2021
The assistant coach of Al Jazira team, Roy Hendriksen, stated that his team will show respect to their hosts Shabab Al Ahli when they face them tomorrow at the Rashid Stadium, but he insisted that Al Jazira will aim only for the victory and the three points.
Speaking to the media during the pre-match press conference, Roy said “Shabab Al Ahli is a strong team with very good players, and they always play to win and they compete for titles in every season. The same goes for Al Jazira, so we expect and tough and complicated game when the two teams face each other tomorrow in Dubai”.
“I can't speak for Shabab Al Ahli but everyone knows they attack and try to score and win. We will stick to our own playing style, we will try to keep the goal, move forward, and create as many chances as we can while keeping the balance between attack and defense”.
“Marcel Keizer and Khalifa Al Hammadi will miss the match because of the red cards they received against Sharjah, and Salim Rashid will also miss it for receiving three yellow cards. Everyone else is ready, including the international team players, they recovered from what happened with the national team and they moved their concentration to the challenges ahead, starting from tomorrow’s game against Shabab Al Ahli”.
